THE First Municipal Development Officer's Training kicked off Thursday, June 30, at the Capitol Compound, Nabunturan, Compostela Valley Province.
PFF-Regional grassroots officer for Mindanao Albert Lim, in a Facebook chat interview, said that the purpose of the event is to introduce football to children aged six to 12 years old and to develop activities for grassroots football program.
"We wanted to promote football philisophy and put legitimate structure for development."
He also said that coaches and educators attended the program.
"Participants will play an exhibition game for the Festival Day which will be the application of the training on Sunday, July 3."
The program was funded by Gov Tyron Uy through Comval Football Association president Abnir Labja.
