Gensan, the gateway to the Socsksargen (short for South Cotabato, Sultan Kudarat, Saranggani, GenSan) area, is one of the country's most competitive cities, with local and foreign investments rapidly pouring into the area.
This year's Kalilangan Festival commemorates the city's foundation by General Paulino Santos 70 years ago.
Smart is expected to participate in all festival activities, from the opening ceremonies on February 20 at the Oval Plaza, to the grand culminating parade on February 27.
Smart will also help ensure that the event will be a safer experience for all participants.
Through the telco leader's partnership with the Philippine National Red Cross, First Aid-trained Smart employees will tend to injured and unwell festival revelers at the Smart-Red Cross First Aid Station at the Oval Plaza on February 20 and 27.
Smart's participation in the festival highlights its commitment to Gensan's development, with cutting-edge communication and information technology infrastructure that benefits residents and visitors alike.
Now with more than 35 million subscribers all over the Philippines, Smart continues to offer to Gensan lowest-ever call and SMS rates to help subscribers cope with rising food, power, and transport prices, while still enjoying high-quality mobile services.
