New resto focuses on Ilonggo food, seafood

THERE is a new restaurant and bar that caters to the palate of Ilonggos for tasty, yet affordable Ilonggo food, especially seafood.
With some P8.5 million initial investments, the owners have placed their trust and confidence on the vibrant business climate of the city and the total business-friendly atmosphere of the area mostly patronized by family groups, young professionals, and yuppie groups.
The new “VIVZ Restobar” opened this week at Paseo Archangeles beside SM City Iloilo and can be considered the newest and swingiest place in the newest commercial and fun hub of the city.
Owned by Engineer Crispin Danay and business partner Anne Villanueva, the place specializes in Filipino food for lunch and dinner with a comedy bar for local talents, KTV, wine bar, wifi, VIP function room, and acoustic live bands in the evening.
The resto also opens combo and budget meals for young professionals along the diversion road on top of its menu dishes paraded by adobado alimusan, pinaputok na tilapia, seafoods and baby back ribs.
Aside from these, other dishes such as sisig na bangus, sotanghon, fried chicken, sinigang na managat, broiled boneless bangus and managat, pot roast, and various chicken dishes make the day for the diners.
The Paseo Archangeles along the diversion road in Mandurriao district is the new hub with several restobars for those seeking out good food and good music after a hard day’s work.
