-A A +AFriday, October 5, 2012
IN THE spirit of good fun and huge doses of screaming, Discovery Shores Boracay summons the island's living dead for "The Beach Zombies," a Halloween soiree for the entire family.
On October 31st, come in your fearsome best and get a chance to win amazing prizes at the wickedest Halloween "spook fest" in Boracay.
The Halloween playground officially opens its doors at 3 p.m., kicking off the festivities with a costume parade of the little zombies showing off their fiercest costumes on stage. This is followed by a dance performance from the resort's resident zombies, a production that never fails to amaze the crowd.

The Kiddie "Boo-fête" is served, with whimsical treats like the Malloweiners (marshmallows and hotdogs on a stick), Boo-licious mac and cheese, Witch Fingers (chicken fingers), Ham and Cheese Spookwich (ham and cheese sandwich), Yummy Mummy cupcakes, Sweet Spider web cotton candy, and skewered fruits with chocolate drizzles.
The afternoon of fearsome fun includes trick or treating at the Horror Room (Androz function room) where guests can create their costumes, paint on their horror faces, and make their own loot bags while enjoying spooky games and activities.
The Zombie House comes alive at 7 p.m. with amusing horror antics and malevolent scares, as gleefully bewildered children merrily move from one fantasy adventure to another.
Parents can enjoy their favorite potions at theSand Bar Beach Bar, or sample their special Hallow Drinks of the Month Dark Shadow (Malibu rum, Kahlua, Oreo vanilla, espresso topped with whipping cream) and Kiss of Medusa ("bloody" raspberry and vanilla ice cream, sugar syrup and crushed ice topped with lychee "eyeballs").

A wickedly sumptuous dinner "Boo-fête" at Sands Restaurant is prepared by the culinary wizards of Discovery Shores' award-winning Culinary Team, serving a wide array of treats to thrill the palate, with cauldrons and carvings of deadly delicious degustation, with live entertainment by the Smooth Band.
A perfect ending to this thrilling day? Late night cocktails with DJ Ron Poe at 9 p.m.
Each year is about outdoing themselves by coming up with outrageously fun themes and constructing sophisticated "haunted" attractions designed to thrill their patrons to their utter delight.
It is no wonder that Discovery Shores is recognized globally by T+L Magazine as The Top Family Hotel in Asia, proven time and again to provide the best family vacations and experiences in the world.
It's all in the bag at P699++ per person, inclusive of snacks and giveaways and only P1,450++ per person for the dinner "Boo-fête" at Sands Restaurant.
