Inflight mag features Iloilo heritage structures

SEVERAL heritage structures in Iloilo City were featured in several pages of glossy inflight magazine of Cebu Pacific Airways in its October 2011 issue.

The colorful Smile Magazine of the airlines is provided to both domestic and foreign travelers in several domestic routes in the Philippines and aboard, especially to Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan, Guam, Los Angeles, New York and Vancouver.

Mayor Jed Patrick Mabilog said he was surprised to see the glossy magazine featuring some heritage buildings and city areas depicting the rich cultural heritage of the Ilonggos.

The mayor said this would give an opportunity for Iloilo to present to foreign tourists what it has. (Lydia C. Pendon)
