Enough power, water supply assured in Dinagyang fest

ILOILO City Mayor Jed Patrick Mabilog assured guests and revelers attending the Dinagyang highlights this weekend of enough water and power supply.
Mabilog admitted he sought the guarantee of officials of the Panay Energy Development Corp. and Local Waterworks Utilities Administration of no power brownouts in all city districts, as well as enough water supply for visitors and guests in several hotels and restaurants in the city.

The city expects more than one million people in the last two days of the festival, as people will witness the Kasadyahan contest on Saturday, and Dinagyang ati-atihan competition on Sunday.
Mabilog said several foreign and national dignitaries will attend the Dinagyang events that made the city a top tourist destination and haven of festivals in the country.
