CITY Mayor Jed Patrick Mabilog has clarified his order for City Hall employees not to eat lunch meals and snacks in their respective work places.

“The seven-storey City Hall is a place that must be loved and protected by the employees against all kinds of insects and other pests that are not pleasant to the new building,” Mabilog said.

Mabilog added that eating places were already provided like the employees’ cafeteria at the third floor, the two rooms above seventh floor provided with tables, chairs and washbasins. Also, all building floors have pantries where employees can use during meal times.

Moreover, the nearby plaza with wide basketball court has chairs that the employees can also use during lunch time as an open-air eating place.
