City’s land use plan out by August 25

ILOILO City’s comprehensive land use plan (Clup) covering the period 2012-2022 will be finalized and submitted to Mayor Jed Patrick Mabilog.
This after a review team assured Iloilo of completion of the city’s blueprint for land use by August 25.
Mabilog said he recently met National Economic and Development Authority (Neda) Regional Director Ro-Anne Bacal and assured him of Clup completion after a comprehensive review and validation by various National Government agencies.
The mayor will then have to submit the structured plan to the City Council for approval and affirmation of the 10-year Clup that will showcase the guide for community land use atoned to the changing conditions and moods of the times.
A plenary session and review of the city Clup was conducted recently at the penthouse of the new City Hall building participated by city officials and representatives of National Government agencies, to finalize the Clup after it was idled for several years.
Mabilog leads the City Government officials in reviewing the Clup, which was intended to create convenient, equitable, healthful, efficient, and attractive environments for present and future generations of Ilonggos.
