CHIEF Superintendent Agrimero Cruz Jr. paid courtesy calls this week to City Mayor Jed Patrick Mabilog and Governor Arthur Defensor.
Cruz, the newly installed police regional commander of Western Visayas, assured that rewards will be given quickly to deserving police personnel but swift punishment will be meted to those who erred and reiterated his message for zero-tolerance on illegal/criminal activities under his regional command.
Cruz highlighted his coordination with LGUs in the ongoing peace and order campaign and security in the region.
Illegal activities such as robberies, hold-ups, kidnappings, drug trafficking and illegal gambling will be on top of police priority in the highly urbanized city and in the province of Iloilo.
Cruz assured the city and province’s local chief executives that he is going to put into action the police support to all programs and projects and show that the policemen here are effective, credible, and fit to be trusted by the Ilonggos.
Similarly, Mabilog assured united cooperation with the police and expressed hope the police service here will not fail the city in terms of peace and order services.
