ILOILO CITY – The Philippine National Police (PNP) in Western Visayas warned all units in the region of the ongoing one-strike policy against incompetent unit officers.

Chief Superintendent Agrimero Cruz on Tuesday assured immediate action will be implemented and erring police members will be relieved pending investigation of illegalities in their area of jurisdiction.

Cruz, newly assigned PNP chief in Western Visayas region, said police officials and their men are responsible in keeping peace and order in their areas.

Cruz also said media briefing will be held every first Wednesday of the month. (Lydia C. Pendon)
