Milo to donate Big Ben clock to City Hall

A GIANT product corporation has assured a donation of a big clock similar to Big Ben in London, England, to be placed at the front façade of the new City Hall building in Iloilo to remind employees and passers-by of the time.

Mayor Jed Patrick Mabilog said Milo officials of Nestle Philippines Corp. answered the call for a big wall clock at no cost to the City Government after visiting the city mayor earlier this week.

Mabilog said the latest donation is a clear manifestation of big business of their trust and confidence on the City Government leadership.

Several Manila-based business leaders have shown interest in a public private partnership on service delivery and infrastructures with the City Government here, Mabilog said. (Lydia C. Pendon)
