FORMER Iloilo City councilor Erwin Plagata returned to the City Hall last October 25 as senior executive assistant to Mayor Jed Patrick Mabilog. He will also serve his expertise in peace and order and transportation.
Plagata, being a medical doctor, will also help in many medical missions of the City Government by representing the city mayor, according to Mabilog.
Plagata, a popular figure in the transport management industry for three consecutive terms until 2010, is the son of the late Iloilo City Police Office (Icpo) chief, Senior Superintendent Achilles Plagata.
Tongtong was deeply involved in transport management and was the main author of the Iloilo City Perimeter Boundary Ordinance that sets the regulation and control of municipal and provincial vehicles from entering the city streets.
