THE Association of Barangay Captains (ABC) in Jaro district, this year’s implementer of the Jaro Agro Industrial and Charity Fair, said it will absolutely not allow gambling or money-for-money games at the plaza fair.
Plaza fair spokesperson Lovejoy Hosenilla of Buntatala, Jaro said they will open with a grand parade in January 12. Activities will end on February 3, 2013.
“Cañores” or children’s games will be allowed including several fair rides and food kiosks and cafeteria but no gambling games,” Hosenilla said.
The ABC Jaro will see to it the cleanliness of the plaza including the protection of plants, trees and flowers. A total of 205 kiosks will be sold at P2,500 each with a 10 feet space, the ABC added.
