Table tennis tourney for youth set Nov. 25-27

THE Iloilo Provincial Government will hold the First Gov. Arthur D. Defensor Sr. Table Tennis Cup 2011 this coming November 25 to 27 at the Iloilo Sports Complex Covered Gym.
The tournament aims to enhance the skill of the youth in playing table tennis.

The tournament is open to students and out-of-school youths in the city and province of Iloilo.
The interested player must not have won in the table tennis competitions in the different Congressional District Sports Association Meets.
The tournament will be divided into four categories: 7 to 12 years old Boys Team Play, 7 to 12 years old Girls Team Play, 13 to 16 years old Boys Team Play, and 13 to 16 years Girls Team Play.
The composition of each team shall be a minimum of two and shall not exceed four players.
The tournament does not require registration fee but big prizes await the winners.
Each category will have the following prizes: champion – P5,000 plus trophy; 1st runner-up – P3,000 and trophy; 2nd runner-up – 2,000 and trophy.
The registration will be until November 24, 2011.
