Suspected drug courier arrested in North Cotabato

KIDAPAWAN CITY -- Authorities in North Cotabato arrested Tuesday a 19-year-old man believed to be a member of a big-time drug syndicate operating in Maguindanao and in other parts of Central Mindanao.

Superintendent Alex Tagum, chief of the Cotabato Public Safety Office (CPSO), identified the suspect as one Muhammad Gamong, who was arrested in a buy-bust operation along a highway in Midsayap town. A big sachet of suspected shabu was recovered from Gampong.
