FOUR law students will be charged before the Makati Prosecutor’s Office with frustrated murder after allegedly attacking and wounding another law student of the Ateneo de Manila University.
Makati police chief Cedrick Train identified the four as Mark Bryan Magno, a law student of the Ateneo de Manila University; Mark Lester Magno, a law student of Lyceum of the Philippines; Carlos Lim, a law student of Lyceum of the Philippines; and Randy Lehaus, a law student of the Ateneo de Manila University.

Their victim was Alberto Philippe Pangcog, a resident of 6077 Palma Street, Barangay Poblacion, Makati.
Pangcog had just alighted from his vehicle and was about to open their gate when the suspects, who were wearing bonnet, attacked him with a night stick. He fought back and was able to take off the bonnet from the suspects’ head, wherein he was able to ascertain their identities.
In the course of their struggle, Magno pulled out a gun and shot the victim in the right thigh.
The suspects upon seeing Pangcog bloodied immediately boarded their vehicle, a Toyota RAV 4 of unknown plate number, and immediately fled to unknown direction.
The victim was rushed by his boardmate to the Makati Medical Center for treatment.
The incident happened over the weekend.
According to the Makati police chief, they will file the charges against the suspects whom they are still trying to locate.
Train said his men who responded to the site recovered from the crime scene two pieces of black bonnet, two pieces of improvised baton, metal pipe, one piece of white rubber shoe, one piece slug of caliber .40, and one piece empty shell of the same caliber. (AH/Sunnex)
