5 films for Cinema One’s film fest

TO CELEBRATE its 15th year in the movie cable landscape, Cinema One will hold the 5th Cinema One Originals Digital Film Festival this month.

The festival will feature five films namely: Si Baning Si Maymay at ang Asong Si Bobo (Rommel Tolentino), Maximus and Minimus (Nap Jamir), Wanted: Border (Ray Gibraltar), Bala-Bala (Melvin Brito), and Paano Ko Sasabihin (Richard Legaspi).

The five films will be screened at the Gateway Cinema in Araneta Center, Cubao, Quezon City on November 13-14 while the awarding ceremony will take place at the Dolphy Theater of ABS-CBN on November 15.

Each script was given a grant of P1 million to produce the film for the November screening.

Big names are included in the cast like Rosanna Roces for Wanted: Border, Enchong Dee and Erich Gonzales for Paano Ko Sasabihin, and Baron Geisler for Maximus and Minimus. (Glaiza Jarloc/Sunnex)
