AirPhil to open Manila-Zamboanga flights

BUDGET airline AirPhil Express will open its 28th domestic destination in Zamboanga City this October.
“We are pleased at the addition of Zamboanga into our network, as our services here allows us to add yet another hub of commerce and trade into our ever-expanding network,” said Bettina de Vera, corporate communications manager at Airphil Express.

She added that the airline will use a brand new 180-seater Airbus 320 for its Zamboanga destination, on top of the nine planes that service other areas.
“This is the new A320 route announced just in a span of five months,” said de Vera.
Airphil Express also said it will add more daily flight services in December.
Meantime, Airphil Express encourages travelers to book online and avail of the “One Peso” fare seats for travel period between October 1 and November 30 this year as well as between January 16 and February 28, 2011.
Selling period is from July 30 to August 1 only as the airline guarantees flyers of baggage allowance up to 15 kilograms.
“We want the entire public to try and enjoy our new fleet and the new routes we fly to. We’re very proud of our overall experience in flight. Better comfort, efficient service and a renewed sense of adventure in flying somewhere new," said de Vera.
Included in this price promotion are AirPhil Express Jet routes out of Manila flying to Bacolod, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legaspi, Puerto Princesa, Tagbilaran, and Zamboanga. (Virgil Lopez/Sunnex)
