"This appointment reiterates the company's commitment to continue providing our customers in Asia with the industry's best service and support. Churchill started with Emerson Network Power in Australia in 2004 and was made director of Emerson's Asia Pacific service business three years later. He was promoted to senior director, service and project management in 2010.

Since joining the company, he has spearheaded the rapid growth of Emerson Network Power's business in the region, anchored around its service delivery processes.

"I plan to mobilize all our service resources and teams to deliver on that promise as I move into my new role."

Churchill's new appointment also covers ensuring effective delivery of professional services and data centre infrastructure management projects in the region.

"Businesses with critical reliance on automated processes need to invest in maintenance and optimization to ensure their infrastructure runs at peak performance. Investing in monitoring controls together with Emerson Network Power services significantly reduces the risk of downtime and saves our customers thousands of dollars each year," added Churchill.
