Globe, Flash Networks win business innovation award

GLOBE Telecom, a leading telecommunications company in the Philippines, and Flash Networks, the leading provider of mobile Internet optimization and monetization solutions, were named winners of the prestigious Global Telecoms Business (GTB) Innovation Award for Mobile Content and Services Innovation.

The partnership between Globe and Flash Networks enables Globe to provide an enhanced mobile browsing experience to its subscribers with present quota status, targeted pricing packages, promotions, and relevant content.

Globe and Flash Networks were selected in recognition of the web monetization services implemented by Globe, offering its subscribers access to a variety of rich content with a differentiated and branded experience across multiple mobile Internet devices, such as smartphones, tablets, laptops, and netbooks.

Flash Networks’ capabilities will enable Globe to recommend and provide one-stop–shop access to up-to-date account information, a variety of data plans, news, social networks, bookmarks, and multiple search tools.

The GTB Innovation Award was founded by Global Telecoms Business Magazine to reward and encourage outstanding technological achievements and innovations in the telecommunications space.

Global Telecoms Business is the journal for senior management among communications service providers worldwide.
