THE Metrobank Foundation Inc. (MBFI) bags a total of 13 Anvils, making it the most-awarded company in the recent 49th Anvil Awards by the Public Relations Society of the Philippines (PRSP) during the Gabi ng Parangal held at Solaire Resort and Casino.

With over 100 companies that participated in this year’s Anvil, only 103 Anvil Awards were given out of the 408 entries received by the PRSP.

MBFI received the most number of Anvil Awards of Excellence with six Anvils, for the following programs and tools—2013 Metrobank Foundation Search for Journalists of the Year (JOY); 2013 Metrobank Foundation Search for the Country’s Outstanding Police Officers in Service (COPS); 2013 National Teachers’ Month; 2013 Metrobank Art & Design Excellence (MADE); 2013 Metrobank-MTAP-DepEd Math Challenge (MMC); and “Beyond the Blackboard”: the Metrobank Foundation Search for Outstanding Teachers audio-visual presentation.

MBFI also got seven Anvil Awards of Merit for: 2013 Metrobank Foundation Search for The Outstanding Philippines Soldiers (TOPS); 2013 Art MADE in Public; “Treasures of Excellence” 2013 Metrobank Foundation and MADE unified souvenir programs; Metrobank Foundation Exemplars coffee table book; MMC Facebook fan page; MADE of GOLD coffee table book; and 2013 MADE Awarding Ceremony and Exhibit Opening.

“These accolades speak of our commitment in bringing relevant programs and tools to benefit our stakeholders and key sectors of society,” said MBFI president Aniceto M. Sobrepeña.

“This is yet another moment that we hold dear to our hearts as it serves as a validation that we are doing well in the area of public relations and stakeholder engagement, timely as MBFI celebrates its 35th anniversary this year,” he added. (PR)
