The athletic specialty concept opens its first flagship door in Powerplant Mall, which communicated the emphasis on sneaker culture, streetwear and athleisure fashion. On the same day, The Athlete’s Foot also released new colorways of adidas NMD R2. Columns of other popular adidas silhouettes and staples such as the Campus, Superstar and Stan Smith decorated the walls. Highlighted as well are reintroduced styles and collections from Nike like the highlight anticipated Air Zoom Mariah, Cortez, and other Air Max styles. In addition, big brands like New Balance, Asics, and Saucony boasted hot kicks of their own, all of which having the potential to trigger any sneaker fanatic into a frenzy. Attention moved not only on the walls but to the faces in the crowd. Seen at the store launch were bright faces of models, influencers, and personalities including Andi Eigenmann, Anton del Rosario, Brent Javier, and Kaila Estrada among others.
Not only is The Athlete’s Foot a choice retailer, but also a trendsetter in its own right as demonstrated in its own private label collections that range from shirts, slides, hoodies and jogger pants.
