ACTRESS Danica Sotto came in defense to his cousin Oyo Sotto denying rumors that the actor was secretly married to his girlfriend Kristine Hermosa.
The issue started when Eat Bulaga main man Vic Sotto confirmed that his son Oyo and Kristine are already planning to get married soon.
But there are talks that the couple secretly tied knot in the United States.
But in an interview with Oyo's sister Danica, she said that there were never any celebration or ceremony held in the U.S.
"Hindi totoo na they got married already. Kaya lang ang dami nag-iisip na nagpakasal na sila. Hindi naman talaga totoo," she said.
According to Danica, the family refuses to talk much on the issue because they can also feel that Oyo and Tin are pressured by it.
"Parang ayoko lang silang ma-pressure kasi ano-ano na lang yung sinasabi ng tao. Hayaan na lang natin na sa kanila manggaling," she stressed.
The singer-actress said there is no reason for the two to keep the marriage a secret, if they had one, because they are both single.
It may be noted that on September 12, 2004, Kristine married actor Diether Ocampo. But after 10 months together, she filed a marriage annulment case. (Glaiza Jarloc/Sunnex)
