Dennis denies giving flowers to co-star

"GUMAPANG Ka Sa Lusak" leading man Dennis Trillo said that he never sent flowers to co-star Jennylyn Mercado in the set of their afternoon soap.

In a television interview with the actor, he said that if he will send flowers, a card will be attached to it.

"Kung ako yun, may pangalan yun at allergic daw sya sa bulaklak at kanina ko lang din nalaman yun (If I'm the one, for sure there's a name written on it and she said that she's allergic to flowers)," he said.

Dennis, who is single right now, also said that he's very close to Jennylyn right now because they get along very well.

"Marami kaming similarities, marami kaming things in common, siguro dahil pareho kami ng buwan ng kapanganakan, ng ugali kaya medyo nag-jive kami, nag-swak kami lalo na sa trabaho (We have a lot of similarities, things in common. Maybe because we were born in the same month. That's why we really jive especially with work)," he said.

The actor was also asked if there's a possibility that he will fall in love with a single mom.

"Oo naman. Kasi ang pagkakaroon ng anak eh hindi naman yun kasiraan sa pagkataon ng isang nilalang kasi yung anak blessing yan (Of course, having a child is not a reason for questioning one's character because a child is always a blessing)," Dennis said.

He added that it is not right when people are having second thoughts about falling in love with a woman who already has kids.

Speaking of falling in love, Dennis is still being linked to ex-girlfriend Cristine Reyes.

The actor did not hide from the press that he went to the birthday celebration of the sexy actress.

"Oo, andun ako. Invited naman ako (Yes I was there, and I was invited)," he said.

Dennis added that they are good friends and will remain that way.

"Na-maintain namin yung friendship, syempre sino bang ayaw ng kaibigan, na-maintain namin yung ganun para walang gulo walang samaan ng loob (We were able to maintain the friendship. Who doesn't want friends? We maintained that way so that there's no chaos and no hard feelings)," he said.

He added that everything is well between Cristine and him and that they will always be there for each other.
