Derek already married

LEADING man Derek Ramsay reiterated his relationship with girlfriend Angelica Panganiban is very strong amid all the controversies.

On Wednesday night, "TV Patrol" obtained a copy of the marriage contract of Derek and Filipino-Indian ex-girlfriend Mary Christine Jolly.

Mary Christine hails from Las Piñas City.


The document showed Derek and Christine were married on April 3, 2002 at the Mayor’s office in Bulacan.

The actor said, to date, his lawyers are taking care of the matter.

"My lawyer now will be the one to take care of that. This is a very personal matter, which I will share to everyone and I have to face in the coming months," he said.

Derek believes he can weather this storm, adding he is also thankful for the support of his girlfriend Angelica.

"For me, just like all the other intrigues that happens every month, I'm gonna focus on my work and for those who has been very supportive, I want to say 'thank you and let you know that she (Angelica) stands by me and our relationship is very, very strong."

Angelica knew the real story behind Derek's marriage and said they will face all the intrigues together.

"Gusto naming harapin ito nang masaya, di ba? Tina-try naman namin ang best namin na malabanan ito na okay kami."

Derek was also linked to co-Kapamilya artist Erich Gonzales.

News has it there's a looming rift between Angel and Erich, but both parties decided not to give any comment on the matter. (Sunnex)
