ACTRESS KC Concepcion will play her first wife and mother role on television this Saturday in "Maalaala Mo Kaya".

KC will breathe life to the character of Aurora, a strong-willed woman who stood by the man she loved and worked hard just to make all her dreams happen.

Starring opposite KC is Paulo Avelino, who plays the role of Romy, in this period episode of the drama anthology.

According to Paulo, working with KC in Maalaala Mo Kaya was a memorable experience.

He said that when he accepted the offer, he had no idea that he would be sharing the boob tube with the daughter of Megastar Sharon Cuneta.

"So when I learned that KC Concepcion is the lead star, I carefully studied the script and really prepared for all our scenes," he said.

"Before I met her, I thought she was ‘unreachable’ because she is the ‘Mega Daughter.' But when I got to work with her, I learned that she is easy to get along with."

The two taped this particular anniversary episode for three days and the actor is thankful for the opportunity given to him.

"I’m a fan of MMK since I was a kid. So it’s a great privilege that now I can say that I’ve been part of the show that I grew up watching."

Directed by Jerry Lopez Sineneng and written by Rose Colindres, KC and Paulo will be joined by Dina Bonnevie, Johnny Revilla, Vangie Labalan, and Nanding Josef.

"Maalaala Mo Kaya" airs every Saturday after "Junior MasterChef Pinoy Edition". (Sunnex)
