Charee Pineda not dating Matt Evans

"ANGELITO Batang Ama" lead actress Charee Pineda denied reports that she's dating Kapamilya actor Matt Evans.

During the press conference of the upcoming afternoon program, Charee denied reports she's going out with the Pinoy Big Brother alumni.

Rumors are looming around that the two are very sweet on the set of Angelito. Some say they would tease each other and are very comfortable together.

Charee immediately cleared the rumors and said they belong to one group that's why they are constantly spotted together.

"Hindi talaga kami. Friends talaga kami ni Matt dati pa. Lumalabas kami as isang grupo. Kasama sila Melissa (Ricks), Jessy (Mendiola) kaya sobrang close talaga kami."

"Kaya siguro nabibigyan din ng kulay kasi lagi kaming lumalabas na magkakasama."

Charee also cleared Matt is not courting her so there's really no truth to the rumors.

"Hindi din kami nagda-date. I don't know kung nagco-court siya kasi wala naman siyang sinasabi sa akin eh. Hindi po siya nanliligaw."

But if Matt pursue her, Charee said the actor has always been good to her and she got to know him in and out of the entertainment world.

"Kung manligaw eh mabait naman si Matt. Kilala ko na siya even before magkasama kami sa project, ilang years na siyang kaibigan."

The young star added that she treats Matt as her older brother and one of her trusted friends in showbizness.

"Honestly ang tawagan pa nga namin eh Kapatid kasi kung may problema ako siya pa minsan naga-advice sa akin. Actually sa buong groupo namin eh siya talaga ang naga-advice sa lahat."

She also revealed that Matt even shares his love life to her and sometimes seek advice.

When asked if she's just hiding her real status with Matt because she's now being paired with JM De Guzman, Charee reiterated: "Wala naman pinoprotektahan, wala namang tinatago kasi wala naman talaga kami ni Matt. Comfortable ako sa kanya dahil magkaibigan kami." (Sunnex)
