Coco speaks on prediction of fathering a child with Kris

"WALANG Hanggan" lead actor Coco Martin shrug off prediction that he will father a child with Queen of All Media Kris Aquino.

Last Sunday on "Gandang Gabi Vice", it was revealed that there's a psychic who predicted that Kris will have another baby this year and the father would be close friend Coco Martin.

In an interview with Coco, he told Sun.Star and other entertainment press that he knows Kris was actually joking when she replied 'maghanda ka na' and he's not a believer of fortune-telling.

"Hindi naman ako nagulat, pero nung narinig ko siya eh hindi ko na lang pinansin. Ang dali lang naman kasi magsabi ng ganung mga bagay."

"Oo (narinig ko) yung sinabi ni Ms. Kris pero alam ko na joke lang, nagbibiro lang yun."

The actor said the idea of him fathering Kris's child is alien to him because he is just friends with the Queen of Talk and he respects her very much.

One consideration also is Kris's family. Coco said he's very close to them and they treat him as one of the family after he did "Noy, The Movie."

"Parang pamilya na kasi yung turing sa akin ng mga kapatid niya. Parang imposible. Sobrang malabo kasi sobrang respeto ko sa kanya."

"Simula kasi nung nag Noy ako na movie, yung Aquino family eh nakakasama ko na, parang ang turing nila sa akin eh pamilya talaga."

The actor was also asked on a particular billboard of him with Kris and baby James, which further fuel rumors that they are actually a couple.

Coco explained they are really close behind the camera but he is not keen in dating right now, especially someone from the entertainment industry.

"Sabi ko nga eh alam ko naman yung buhay namin at yung trabaho namin, siguro kung papatol pa ako sa isang taga-showbiz eh baka mag-end lang sa hindi maganda."

The actor added that they were tapped to pose for that billboard because they are both part of 'Bench' family.

When asked if he is open to working with Kris in a possible movie project, Coco replied: "basta may magandang proyekto eh bakit naman hindi." (Sunnex)
