Nikki okay with Billy's trip abroad

SINGER Nikki Gil wished boyfriend Billy Crawford all the best when he will leave the country this year to continue his international career.

In an interview, Gil admitted that she is saddened by Crawford's impending trip abroad, but she knows it's for his own good. "Of course sad ako but happy at the same time because I know this is something good for him and I know something good will come out of it," she said.

Crawford is expected to revive his singing career in Paris, France. According to Gil, she won't accompany her boyfriend because of her showbiz commitments in the country.

Gil co-stars ABS-CBN's newest offering "Mundo Man Ay Magunaw", which premiers late January. She will be joined by Empress Schuck and Ejay Falcon.

Gil said she and Crawford could always text or talk to each other over Skype when he is already in Paris. "Modern naman na eh, ang daming pwedeng paraan," she said.

"Thankfully I have this (soap). It would take my mind off during his absence," he added.

Gil said the secret about their successful relationship is her trust with Crawford when it comes to his professional works and she knows he won't do anything to ruin their partnership.

"Hindi naman kami tatagal ng ganito kung walang trust eh. I trust him. I just don't trust the people around him," she said.

She added that the relationship she shares with Crawford is a God-centered relationship. (Sunnex)
