Joey ready to face Kris

TELEVISION actor and host Joey Marquez said he is ready to face Queen of All Media Kris Aquino, who was his former girlfriend.

During the press launch of ABS-CBN's newest talk show "Showbiz Inside Report", Joey said they haven't seen each other for so many years, but he is not avoiding Kris.

Joey said there are no inhibitions on his part if the talk show host is willing to share the camera with him.

"With the line of work I have now, I am expected to deliver what is expected and suggested. Kung papayag magpainterview, why not? It is a great honor to interview such intelligent, lovely lady like her."

"Lately kasi nasa bahay lang ako at opisina. Kahit noon, hindi naman dahil magkaiba kami ng network kaya hindi kami nagkikita. Pareho kaming nasa larangan ng showbiz, kahit saan pwede kami magkita. It doesn’t necessarily follow na nag-iiwasan kami."

The actor also said when they bump to each other, he will definitely greet her.

"Ayoko naman manguna sa mga nangyayari. Kung magkikita eh why not? I want to remain a gentleman. I’d like to be as gentlemanly as I can be."

"Ang sa akin, bilang lalaki, whatever the situation is, I have to say 'thank you, yes or right'. Yun lang dapat. Because society's more forgiving towards men than women, yun lang." (Sunnex)
