Boy cited "lack of authority of the solemnizing officer" as the reason why the annulment was granted by the court. The former couple was married in July 10, 2005.
He added that the news was received by Kris as early as January this year and everything was settled from the division of their properties to the visitation rights of their son James Jr. or Bimby.
Kris in her Twitter page said she only wish her former husband happiness.
"Yes I'm annulled & can only wish for James & me lasting happiness & genuine friendship for Bimby's sake (sic)," she tweeted.
Kris also said she will be flying to Hong Kong with her two sons.
"Going to HK Disney w/ josh & bimby. Need this weekend to just be the 5 of us (me, my 2 sons & yaya A & Gerbel)."
Kris told reporters that she will be out of the country twice this month to bond with his sons as she will be getting busy in the coming months with "Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw," her upcoming primetime series with Xyriel Manabat, Anne Curtis and Robin Padilla.
She said she will celebrate her birthday on February 14 in Tokyo Disneyland in Japan with the kids.
"As in sobrang suhol. Kasi alam ko at alam din nila na once this (Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw) starts talaga, eh, ibang level ng pagod. Para at least payagan nila akong dalawa."
According to the television host, her kids are very supportive of her showbiz works and they understand that long working hours are part of her job.
Kris said everything is set and her kids are very excited with their upcoming travels. (Glaiza Jarloc/Sunnex)
