No tension between Oyo, father

VALIENTE lead actor Oyo Sotto said all is well between him and his father, television host/actor Vic Sotto, amid issues regarding the latter’s romantic life.

Vic was earlier linked to his "Eat Bulaga" co-host Pauleen Luna.

Oyo, on his Twitter page, expressed his opposition to Pauleen for his father and this became headlines on major tabs.

However, Oyo said that though his tweets made it on papers, his father never confronted him about the issue.

He also reiterated that he is not angry with Pauleen.

"Sa amin ni Daddy, hindi naman namin pinag-uusapan yun. Wala naman sa amin ni Daddy yun. Siyempre, marami talagang isyu kung marami. Pero pag sa loob ng family, hindi talaga namin pinag-uusapan yun."

He added that even his mother, Dina Bonnevie, does not want to meddle in this controversy.

Now that his father is again linked to a younger lady, Niña Jose, Oyo said that age really doesn't matter when it comes to issues of the heart.

"Sa tingin ko hindi naman talaga sa edad yan. Pero kung napapakisamahan mo yung tao at kung kaya mo namang tanggapin yung tao ay okay lang."

"Ako, basta si Daddy kung masaya siya, alam na niya yun, malaki na siya. Ang puno't dulo pa rin niyan, tatay ko siya... hindi ko matatanggal yun na maging tatay ko siya." (Sunnex)
