Angel to spend Valentine's Day with John Lloyd

ACTRESS Angel Locsin said she will celebrate Valentine's Day with her "Unofficially Yours" leading man John Lloyd Cruz.

During the movie's grand launch, Angel said as far as she knows, there's no date set yet for her and rumored boyfriend Phil Younghusband on February 14.

Her newest movie with Cruz will premiere on a Valentine's Day. "Sa Valentine's Day eh kasama ko si Lloydie. Kasama ko kayo (referring to the entertainment press)," Locsin said.

Locsin said she's not sure yet how she and Younghusband will spend the day of hearts. Nevertheless, she said she is happy to know that the football star is always beside her and supports her acting career.

The couple became an item last year after Younghusband dared to ask Locsin to go on Valentine date on micro-blogging site Twitter. Locsin initially rejected the offer due to her prior showbiz commitments, but later agreed on seeing the Azkals key player on other days.

Since then, the two are constantly seen together in showbiz events and private parties and they are each other's date on major entertainment functions.

Meanwhile, Locsin's leading man John Lloyd Cruz will be celebrating the love month with a happy heart following his reported reconciliation with girlfriend Shaina Magdayo.

The actor decided not to divulge details of their relationship in public and said they want to keep the romance to themselves this time around.

"We are trying to keep the private matters private kasi masyado din ata kaming naging maluwag din sa pagwe-welcome ng public sa buhay naming," he said.

Star Cinema's latest offering, "Unofficially Yours", will open in theaters starting February 15. (Sunnex)
