"Matagal ko na silang kakilala kaya it's an honor for me to be working again with Gelli (de Belen) and Aiko (Melendez). Enjoy naman talaga," she said.
The actress is now based in Los Angeles with her husband and two kids. She recently finished her Communications degree, which she took for three years, from the University of California.
"I've done plays, but nasa school talaga ako at 'yun ang inasikaso ko. I finished my first film for my thesis. I wrote, directed and produce "Pinoy Grease," she said.
Tongi said she got the role for "Nandito Ako" through her showbiz friends on Facebook. "Nagtanong sila na uuwi ka daw, bakasyon ka daw. Sabi ko ipadala nila 'yung script sa akin, binasa ko, then meron na akong date," she added.
She said she will fly back to Los Angeles on February 13 to be her family. (Sunnex)
