Alex, Chris host 'Toink!' on TV5

KAPATID actress Alex Gonzaga and sports personality Chris Tiu host the newest comedy game show on the Kapatid Network entitled "Toink! Sino ang Tama?"

This is the first project of the "Juicy" host with the basketball star.

Alex said she's happy working with Chris, adding the cager is a true gentleman on and off screen.

"Okay na okay si Chris. Totoo yung mga tsismis na mabait siya at humble."

Alex said she never thought that she will get a chance to work with Chris.

She clarified that they are just friends and their main focus now is work and nothing more.

"Natuwa talaga ako kasi hindi ko inexpect kasi nasa kabilang network din siya. Buti na lang eh tinanggap niya din yung game show."

"Excited kami dito kasi diba niloloko loko nga lang namin siya sa Juicy, then ito na ngayon, hindi ko naman akalain na magkakasama kami sa isang show."

Chris, for his part, said the Kapuso Network allowed him to accept the project because he only has a 'per show contract' with the network.

He added that this is not the first time he will be working with the Kapatid Network because he once graced "Ako Mismo" and "Talentadong Pinoy", among others.

"Pinaalam ko naman ito. Magkaiba yung timeslot and iba yung format kaya okay na din sa GMA. Dati din naman kasi nakatrabaho ko din ang TV5, so walang problema."

Chris also said the 23-year-old host/actress is fun to be with in the set of the new comedy game show.

Also joining Alex and Chris are Gene Padilla and Pretty Trizsa who will provide the man-on-the-street insights as they scout for random interviewees who could possibly provide correct answers to the game.

Directed by Kitchie Benedicto, "Toink! Sino ang Tama?" airs every Sunday, at 2 p.m. on the Kapatid Network. (Sunnex)
