Yeng on the 'new' Charice

SINGER Yeng Constantino shares her views on the latest transformation of international singer Charice Pempengco.

In the past few days, Charice earned mixed reviews on her new hairstyle, fashion take and on her decision to have a tattoo.

Yeng said Charice is entitled to all of those things, adding that the latter is still young and experimenting on things.

When asked to comment on some reports that the international star was copying Yeng's hair and fashion transformations, the former said: "Lahat naman ng tao eh nagbabago bago ng hairstyle and I think yun ang gusto niya. Just like me, pabago bago din ako kasi yun naman yung personality ko."

"I think lahat naman ng tao eh may right na i-express yung sarili nila through haircut, fashion and everything. That's what she wants, wala na dapat pagtalunan dun."

The "Pinoy Dream Academy" grand winner also shared her views on reports questioning Charice's gender preference after the latter debut her new look.

Yeng, who in the past received the same criticisms, said artists can never really please everyone.

"Pag-alam mo yung truth sa heart mo eh hindi ka matatakot and hindi mo ma-expect na please mo talaga lahat ng tao." (Sunnex)
