Ronald Singson yet to decide on next political move

FORMER Ilocos Sur 1st District Representative Ronald Singson is not closing his doors from entering politics again.

Sun.Star interviewed Singson during the GMA Ilocos station trade launch in Vigan, Ilocos Sur on Friday.

"I'm not closing any doors. Pag-uusapan ng pamilya namin yan when the time comes, but as of now I'm concentrating on the private side."

His father, Chavit Singson, is the Governor of Ilocos Sur while brother Ryan replaced Ronald when the latter resigned in Congress after being convicted and imprisoned in Hong Kong for drug trafficking.

Although he does not hold any political position, Singson revealed that he is still helping his brother and father in rendering services to their province.

"What I'm doing now is actually more than what I was doing nung Congressman ako. Ngayon umiikot ako sa Barangay at tinitingnan ko yung pangangailangan nila and ako yung naglalapit sa office ng kapatid or tatay ko."

He added that with the kind of schedule he has, romance is not in the priority list. He is focusing on work.

"Kung nandiyan yan, eh darating at darating yan... hindi naman yan mapipigilan eh. It’s something that I'm hoping for and in due time."

When asked about his ex-girlfriend Lovi Poe, he said they are good friends and still talk to each other. (Sunnex)
