Ara Mina insulted over Cristine's apology

ACTRESS Ara Mina posted a meaningful tweet on her official Twitter account after the public apology made by estranged sister Cristine Reyes.
"A stiff apology is a second insult... The injured party does not want to be compensated because he has been wronged; he wants to be healed because he has been hurt. -G.K. Chesterton"
This was Ara's answer to Cristine when the latter guested on "The Buzz" Sunday afternoon.
In her interview with King of Talk Boy Abunda, the "Dahil Sa Pag-ibig" actress finally said her apologies to Ara and wishes to settle all misunderstanding between them.
"I'm sorry and I would like to apologize if ever I offended you, (kung) sumama ang loob mo sa akin," Cristine said.
"I tried my best na pumunta sa iyo… alam mo ‘yan Ate. Sinabi ko pa sa iyo na kung gusto mo, luluhod ako sa harapan mo (to approach you. I told you that if you want, I will kneel before you)," she added.
Cristine hopes her sister will forgive her and that they will be able to settle their differences soon for the sake of their family.
She added that this is all for their mother, who is greatly affected of what they are both going through.
Last April, Ara filed complaints of libel and grave coercion against Cristine on the alleged defamatory statements made by the latter on her older sister.
Ara said she's not keen to call off the cases she filed to teach Cristine a lesson. (Sunnex)
