Ejay is the next big thing: writer-A A +A

SERIES writer Salvador Royales was surprised by the performance shown by Ejay Falcon in the afternoon soap "Mundo Man ay Magunaw," describing the young actor as the next big thing in showbiz.
He said Ejay, an alumnus of hit reality show Pinoy Big Brother, is following the footsteps of John Lloyd Cruz, Jericho Rosales, Piolo Pascual or even Richard Gomez, the big leading men of ABS-CBN.
Ejay said he's happy to hear these kind words from a person who is considered in an authority in the industry, as he vowed to try his best to improve his craft and not to disappoint the people who appreciate his work.
Asked about his critics who constantly question his acting skills, the young actor said he can't blame them because when he started in showbiz, he doesn't know much about the job.
"Hindi ko naman sila masisi sa mga reaksiyon nila nung una sa akin kasi lahat naman ng artista eh dumaan dun eh. Kahit yung mga beteranong artista eh nagsasabi din na di sila makaarte nung umpisa (I can't blame them for their reactions. I know that even veteran actors have gone through this stage)," he said.
Ejay is also not threatened by the new housemates coming out of the PBB house. He said they reminded him of his early days in showbiz.
"Kung mas mabigyan sila ng break eh mas matutuwa ako kasi nakikita ko yung sarili ko sa kanila dati eh. Isang taong nangarap, nag-audition sa PBB at nanalo. Parang ako din po yun (I should be happy for them if they are given big breaks. I can see myself in them. One people who dreamed, auditioned for PBB and won)," he said.
He advised new comers to learn to be patient if they want to succeed in the entertainment business and to give back to be able to receive more.
After "Mundo Man ay Magunaw," Ejay will star in a new project in ABS-CBN. (Sunnex)
