ACTOR Robin Padilla is proud of daughter Kylie for making a name in showbizness through her own hard work.
According to the "Toda Max" star, he is very happy because Kylie seems comfortable and contended with her work.
"Ako ang pinakamasayang ama. Magaling ang Diyos. Nararamdaman ko yung tamis na yung anak ko ay narating niya ng wala ako sa tabi niya. Nasa kabilang channel ako, number one yung show niya, yung akin hindi. Ang galing ng ginawa ng anak ko kaya I'm very proud," said Robin.
Kylie recently topbilled "The Good Daughter" opposite Kapuso actors Rocco Nacino, Raymond Bagatsing, LJ Reyes and Alicia Mayer.
Robin said he prefers his daughter to focus on work and remain single.
But if the time comes that Kylie will introduce a guy to him, he said he will get to know the person for the sake of her daughter's happiness.
"Hindi naman ako nagkukulang sa kanya bilang ama. Kung sino man ang kanyang napupusuan pinipilit kong mapalapit sa akin kasi ang katapos-tapusan niyan kung saan maligaya ang anak, ang importante lang ang kausapin ko pa ang lalaking yan," he said.
Last month Kylie and actor Aljur Abrenica ended their relationship even though they never publicly confirmed it. Both parties decided to remain mum on the break-up.
Meanwhile, Robin was also asked about the status of his relationship to sibling BB Gandanghari, who is currently back in Manila after
her long stay in the United States.
"Same old story. Hindi na importante kung okay kami, ang mahalaga masaya siya, masaya kami," he said.
Robin is currently shooting for the television series "Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw" with Anne Curtis and Queen of All Media Kris Aquino. It will be aired on ABS-CBN. (Sunnex)
