Carmina thrilled to be working with Zaijian

TELEVISION host and actress Carmina Villarroel said she is a fan of co-star and child wonder Zaijian Jaranilla.

The two are currently working together in hit primetime series ABS-CBN’s "Lorenzo's Time."

"Totoong brilliant child star si Zaijian. Hindi pwedeng petiks-petiks lang at sabihing 'bata lang naman yan' kasi kakainin ka niya ng buhay sa eksena kapag hindi ka prepared. Mga mata pa lang niya umaarte na (You can’t come to the set unprepared because he is just a kid; he will eat you alive. His eyes are very expressive)," she said.

The actress said she is also pleased with the positive feedback of the show, saying its plot and the overall performance of the cast are the reasons behind the show’s success.

"Yung istorya naman kasi talaga nakaka-in love na. Ako mismo, na-cute-an kasi it's something new. Hindi ito yung typical na ka-edad ko ‘yung kapartner ko (You will really fall in love with the story. Personally, I find it cute. It is not the typical love story where my partner is of the same age)," she said.

"Napaka-light kasi ng story namin kaya masarap panoorin. Hindi lang siya drama, may kakaibang katatawanan din at pampamilya siya dahil may values na mapupulot sa kuwento ng buhay ni Enzo (The story is very light, which makes is good to watch. It does not only offer drama, but there is also comedy, and it is for the family because you will get values from it)," she added.

"Lorenzo's Time" airs weeknights on the Kapamilya Network and stars Rommel Padilla, Alfred Vargas, James Blanco, Amy Austria and Gina Pareno. (Sunnex)
