Denise keeps mum about baby's father

DENISE Laurel preferred to keep silent about the real identity of the father of her child, but said they are still "very much" together.

She said he is not from the entertainment industry and she wanted to respect her boyfriend and his family's privacy. "It is just that it's not his personality, and his parents, they are all private people," she said.

The actress is now a mom to one-year-old son Alejandro. She said her son pushes her to work more to be able to provide a happy and comfortable future for him.

Right now Denise is playing the lead role in the afternoon Precious Hearts Romances series "Pintada" opposite Martin del Rosario.

She breathes life to the character of Lysa, a woman who is eager to start anew after escaping a scandal that smeared her reputation.

Denise is thankful to her mother network for giving her this kind of project as her comeback program on television.

The actress said it inspires her to better her craft and not disappoint those who believed in her talent and capacity to stay and continue in this industry.

Joining Denise in the series are Yen Santos, Lemuel Pelayo, Bernadette Allyson, Alma Concepcion, Ricardo Cepeda, Nikka Valencia, James Reid, Jess Mendoza, Eslove Briones, Deniesse Joaquin, Jommy Teotico, Chase Vega, Katrina Legaspi, Erin Ocampo, EJ Jallorina, Lui Manansala, Dolly Gutierrez, Buddy Palad, and Marky Roldan.

The Precious Hearts Romances series also marks the return of box-office director Cathy Garcia-Molina in directing television series.
