Marvin still good friends with mother of twin sons

TELEVISION host Marvin Agustin said he will always remain good friends with ex-girlfriend and mother of his sons Santiago and Sebastian.

In a recent interview with the "Artista Academy" host, he shared that during his break, he went to a Disney Cruise with his twins and non-showbiz ex-girlfriend.

They travelled for five nights and went to Disney's private island in the Bahamas.

"Unang nga hindi ko alam na Bahamas. Sabi ko 'san pupunta itong barkong ito? Tapos sabi sa Bahamas'. Aba makakarating na ako ng Bahamas. Very, very happy (At first, I never knew that we're going to the Bahamas. I was very happy when I learned that the ship was going to the Bahamas)," he said.

Although it was a fun-filled break, Marvin denied that he has rekindled his romance with the twin's mother.

Marvin said he and his ex-girlfriend promised to each other to remain good friends for the sake of the kids.

"She will just remain as a friend. We're very good friends. Minsan lumalabas rin naman kami dahil maganda naman talaga yung relationship namin (Sometimes we go out together because our relationship as friends is fine)," he said.

"That's what we promised each other. Sabi namin na hindi kami mag-aaway for the kids as much as possible. Hindi na nga namin naibigay yung perpekto, or yung usual setup, wag na natin silang pahirapan pa (We promised to each other that we will not quarrel for the kids as much as possible. We agreed not to complicate matters for the kids)," he added.

He said he never dared to ask if she's in a relationship now and doesn't want to complicate things with her. The actor said all is well between them.

But when asked if his kids are requesting for baby brother or sister, Marvin shared they sometimes do. Their appeals would fall on deaf ears.

"Bingi. Hindi ko na lang naririnig. (Sasabihin ko) 'next meeting yun. Next agenda na lang yan anak, magbasa kayo ng libro," he said.

He then jokingly added: "Magastos po ang kambal. Kakabayad ko lang ng eskwelahan nila at times two ng times two ang bayad. Grabe!"

Although there no signs of renewing romantic ties with ex-girlfriend in the foreseen future, Marvin said he will not close his doors for love.

"Hindi mananahimik ang puso ko. Hindi pwedeng isara ang puso," he said. (Sunnex)
