Jessy: JM is very special

YOUNG actress Jessy Mendiola admitted that actor JM de Guzman is “very special” to her but said they are not into a relationship.

"He's a special friend of mine; he's a special person -- not just to me but to others, like his friends and people close to him," she said.

The two knew each other when they did ABS-CBN series “Sabel.” Since then, they have been linked to each other.

Despite Jessy denying being involved in a relationship with the actor, speculations remain, as in most of JM’s interview, the actor would always praise the actress.

The actor also said that Jessy is his ideal girl.

When asked to react on this, Jessy said, "I'm flattered and happy na galing na sa kanya at sinasabi niya sa lahat ng tao. Nagulat din ako (I was also surprised). It's so nice of him naman and very brave to actually say that to everyone."

Although JM admitted that he is keen in courting the actress, Jessy said her main focus now is work. She, however, said that she wants to maintain a good working relationship and friendship with the actor.

"Right now, I don't want to rush things… Si JM mabait siyang tao and para sa akin mas maganda kung anong meron kami ngayon, pagkakaibigan man or him as a suitor and me as a friend, I would like to keep it that way first because right now my priority is my work," she said.

When asked what her ideal man is, the actress said, "Wala akong ideal man. Lahat naman ng tao ang gusto, eh, understanding, mabait. (I don’t have an ideal man. Like others, I would want someone who is understanding and with good character)." (Sunnex)
