Maja confirms breakup with Matteo

ACTRESS Maja Salvador finally confirmed Friday that she and Matteo Guidicelli have broken up.

During an interview on morning talk show "Kris TV" by Queen of All Media Kris Aquino, Maja said she is now "single."

However, Maja clarified that she and Matteo remain friends despite the break up. She said there was no third party involved in their split up.

"Parang nag-decide lang kami na i-end muna ang relationship kasi may mga priorities kaming dapat unahin like siya yung career niya at pagiging triathlete (We just decided to end the relationship to prioritize his career and his being a triathlete)," she said.

Maja said they have no time for their relationship due to their tight schedules. She hinted about the break up through series of quotes posted on Twitter couple of weeks ago.

Maja revealed her relationship with Matteo in September last year after the controversial fist fight between the latter and her co-star Coco Martin at the Star Magic Ball. (Sunnex)
