TELEVISION personalities have extended their help to flood victims in Metro Manila and nearby provinces.

Presidential sister and Queen of All Media Kris Aquino led the distribution of relief goods in Valenzuela City Thursday. She was with actresses Angel Locsin and Iza Calzado.

In a "Bandila" interview, Iza said she wanted to personally see the condition of flood victims.

"Ito talaga ‘yung gusto kong makita... makita din na mapangiti (ko sila). This is really one of the best gifts when it comes to being a celebrity," she said.

Besides helping flood victims by distributing relief goods, Angel also used micro-blogging site Twitter to spread words on how to render service and help the flood victims.

"It's Showtime" hosts Anne Curtis, Vice Ganda, "Walang Hanggan" actor Richard Gomez and "Aryanna" lead actress Ella Cruz went to Pasig City to distribute relief goods.

Anne said they will try to visit other places affected by flood.

"Anyone who needs help, anywhere, any evacuation center that we can get to, dapat talagang puntahan dahil maraming nangangailangan," she said.

"Taas noo mga kababayan. Kaya natin ito. Babangon tayo ng nakangiti kasi ‘yun ang trait nating mga Pilipino," she added.

Among others, the stars who offered help include Sam Milby, John Prats, Kc Concepcion, Kapuso actress Marian Rivera and Megastar Sharon Cuneta. (Glaiza Jarloc/Sunnex)
