Director sees x-factor in ‘Artista Academy’ hopefuls-A A +A

KAPATID Network Talent Center head and seasoned director Mac Alejandre believes the judges of "Artista Academy" made the right choice in picking the top 16 who will go head-to-head in the competition.
Early last week, the program named the top boys and girls who are in the running for the big showbiz break and the coveted P20 million in total prizes.
Alejandre said that even though it was too early to pick out favorites, there are few who really stand out.
What he can assure the public is that all the contestants of "Artista Academy" are deserving winners.
He said they were able to get the auditionees who have the face, the talent and x-factor to succeed in the local entertainment business.
"The TV5 stars are not like other stars. He/she is somebody na unquestionable ang ganda, ang galing at ang dating."
"Yun ang hinahanap na qualities ko eh. Kailangan talaga may ganda, sa looks. Kailangan may galing.
The talent head added that they were able to get representatives from different regions, financial/personal backgrounds and experiences.
They should be able to act, dance and sing."
He further revealed that the Best Actor and Actress will be working immediately on their first primetime project after the winners will be named.
