KAPUSO actor Mark Herras is not threatened by new showbiz hopefuls who joined the second season of "Protégé".
A product of a talent-reality search himself, Mark said he will welcome anyone who wants to work in the showbiz industry.
"Nanood pa ako ng gala night nila and mas nangingibabaw yung excitement for them."
He said anyone can give show business a shot and there's no harm in trying.
Now that new names are emerging on television, Mark's advice to them is to appreciate their work and the people around them.
"Yung talent and looks eh normally andyan na yan. Yung mga sumuporta sa kanila since day one."
Right now, Mark is in Bicol region with other Kapuso stars to celebrate the launch of GMA TV Bicol and entertain Bicolanos at the Ibalong Festival.
Mark said he enjoys the traveling he's doing now and it gives him the opportunity to meet new people.
(Sunnex)
