Sarah on Richard: We're just friends

SARAH Lahbati said she and her "Makapiling kang Muli" leading man Richard Gutierrez are much closer now with each other and enjoy each other's company.
"Before the show hindi ko naman talaga siya kilala. I only got to know him na lang when I knew that I'm going to be paired with him. Mas nakilala ko siya ngayon kasi halos everyday magkasama kami sa work and some events."
Like the actor, the 18-year-old beauty is also fond of adventure the reason why she was invited to guest in Richard's show, "Pinoy Adventure."
"Natuwa ako kasi mahilig ako sa extreme sports and adventure. I got really excited when I heard the news na I'm going to guest on his show," she said. "Medyo scary yung mga pinaggagawa ko pero mga memories yun na ike-keep ko sa sarili ko."
Sarah was Richard's date during the birthday party of Ruffa Gutierrez, the actor's oldest sister.
Sarah confirmed that she already met Richard's parents Eddie Gutierrez and the feisty talent manager Annabelle Rama.
She described Richard as "very nice" and "sweet guy."
She said Richard always shows his being gentleman to everyone on the set. He makes sure that everything is all right and everyone has taken their meals.
Although they are romantically linked to each other, Sarah said she's focused on her career and preferred not to enter any relationship.
"My parents naman are allowing me to have a boyfriend as long as kakilala nila and as parents nag-aalala din sila. Kailangan lang din nilang makilala," she said.
Sarah added that her mom likes Richard.
"Natutuwa siya sa mga blessings na dumating sa akin this year, sa amin ni Richard na magka-pares kami ngayon. She thinks that he's a nice guy and very professional," she said.
When asked on what qualities she's looking for in a boyfriend, the Moroccan-Filipina beauty said she wants to meet someone who will respect and love her.
"I want a guy na gusto niyang maging better person pag kasama ko. Yung ma-inspire din ako sa kanya. I also want someone who is smart and responsible," she said.
"Pagka may nahanap ako na para sa akin. (Siguro) na-traffic lang yan sa Edsa dahil sa baha," she added. (Sunnex)
