BEA Alonzo and John Lloyd Cruz will celebrate the 10th year anniversary of their team-up with the upcoming Star Cinema movie "The Mistress."
Dubbed as an "imperfect love story," the movie, which opens September 12 in theaters nationwide, will feature a more daring and mature Bea and John Lloyd.
The actress said she a bit hesitant and nervous to do the movie because her role would be different from what she used to do on and off screen.
Bea added that she's happy to be reunited with John Lloyd. She never thought that they will work together again after the 2010 hit movie "Miss You Like Crazy."
The actress said that working with John Lloyd gives her a sense of familiarity, which she never felt with other actors. Bea added that she's still a John Lloyd fan.
"Hanggang ngayon, napapatulala pa rin ako kung pano niya dini-deliver ang roles niya, he's such a good actor," she said.
"He's very generous when it comes to giving emotions and giving me reactions sa scenes ko kahit hindi niya shot. He's very supportive," Bea said of John Lloyd.
She added that John Lloyd grew up over the years as he's more mature in tackling roles, he's always focused on the project, he do research, and he's more dedicated in work.
The Bea and John Lloyd love team started in 2002 hit primetime series "Kay Tagal Kang Hinintay." From then on, they did numerous projects both on small and big screens.
They starred in "Now That I Have You," "All About Love," "Close To You," and their well-loved movie project "One More Chance."
The duo also did "Ikaw ang Lahat sa Akin," "Maging Sino Ka Man," and "It Might Be You" on television.
Their latest movie, "The Mistress" is directed by Olivia Lamasan. (Sunnex)
